The Challenge
Creative Australia needed a web application that would enable arts and cultural organisations across Australia to self-assess their digital capabilities. The platform had to be fully accessible, meeting strict government requirements while providing an intuitive user experience for organisations with varying levels of technical expertise.
The Solution
Working for the digital design team at Kopi Su Studio, Xelleron built a web application self-assessment tool for arts and cultural organisations. The Think Digital application offers a digital capabilities overview and supports the development of a digital strategy. We used the Xelleron framework and existing components to build a prototype followed by a production version of the tool. This included complex workflows, features like note-taking, flagging and showing recent edits to enhance a sense of co-presence within teams. The front end of the tool was implemented by converting Figma designs provided by Kopi Su Studio to code. This workflow allowed us to build a functional and beautiful solution for the end client and also to facilitate WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility compliance.
