Testimonials

Evidence-based insights

Al Cranswick was part of a 3-person team of specialists that comprehensively reviewed our marketing, sales, customer on-boarding and partnership operations, providing the evidence-based insights we had been seeking for years.

What distinguished Al's work was the honest assessment of our challenges, transparent communication throughout the process, and actionable recommendations that could be immediately implemented. The cross-functional alignment workshop he facilitated created genuine consensus across our teams.

His ability to connect brand values with operational strategy delivered sustainable improvements that continue to benefit our organization. I would confidently recommend Alastair for any complex strategic challenge.

Organisational Performance Improvement

As Group Strategy Director at RPS Group Plc, I asked Al to draft some papers for me on the optimisation of pricing, cross-selling, costing, KPIs, and P&L structure. These papers together formed the basis of a new Financial Framework that was adopted by the RPS Group Leadership Team. I was impressed by Al's ability to combine external research, notes from my meetings with Segment CEOs, insights from the Group Financial Controller and myself, and his own insights from his experience as a Regional Finance Business Partner in RPS. The papers were also reviewed externally and found to be of a very high quality.

Al travelled from Australia to our UK head office several times, but I'll always remember Al as the smiling face on the end of a long-distance video conference. ...

Al would be an asset to any company's strategic planning process, especially when it comes to setting up frameworks and KPIs that are intended to align behaviour with strategy.

Data Modelling

April 24, 2020,

Al developed analysis models that I reviewed via Azure DevOps and Visual Studio. I endorse him for his outstanding data analytics skills and business acumen. Al's deep business understanding helped him in this task. However, Al is more than a citizen data scientist. He solved data modelling challenges that experienced developers had been unable to solve. I have not before encountered someone with Al's passion and curiosity for data science.
